This is a picture, Yumi (Chad's mom's cousin) emailed us of Hinata and her Grandma, which is Chad's grandma's sister and her grand daughter (are you confused yet?). This is the explanation Yumi sent witht the picture:Shichi-go-san is a Japanese traditional festival to celebrate the growth of children. 7 year old children are dressed up in their best clothes and taken to shrines.
Hinata is 7 years old.
Doesn't she look so pretty. I love their traditional clothing--it's beautiful. Thanks for sending us this picture Yumi. We can't wait to see you in December!
