The first time I tried to "read" Kaiya this book of animals she wasn't too interested. So I tried to make it more interesting for her by making the sounds of the animals, and she LOVES it! She sits there very still, giggling at all my silly noises and waits patiently for me to read it again. She usually likes it when I read it twice, then she gets impatient and starts grabbing at the book to take it away. It's fun while it lasts and it's incredible to me how much she likes it and how still she's willing to sit (that doesn't happen often.)
By the way she's started to crawl, she can go from one side of the room to the other!
