memorial service for Mr. giant rubber ducky

Kaiya loved Mr. giant rubber ducky, he was twice as big as her head and an excellent bath-time companion. But poor Mr. Ducky suffered from a fatal mold disease and had to say goodbye to us shortly after he was diagnosed. It had really just eaten him from the inside out and there wasn't much left, but nasty black goo.
If you look closely at the pictures you will see that it started to spread to his wings as well.
It also affected his swimming and most of the time he was swimming on his side, he couldn't tell what was up or down. Thats when we knew that it was time say goodbye to Mr. giant rubber ducky and end his misery. He's now peacefully resting in a landfill somewhere.

As for bath-time...don't worry Kaiya got a bunch of new bath-time toys from Santa clause and she quickly forgot about Mr. duck.
