birthday spectacular

everybody in America celebrates with you when your birthday is on the fourth of july. Chad's one of those lucky people; but since we will be traveling on a jet plane, or just landed (and who knows when i'll have time to post this) i wanted to make sure i got it up before we left. that way you know all the reasons i'm glad your alive. well at least twenty six of them because that's how many years you've been on this earth.

here are twenty six reasons i really like you:

you have the warmest brown eyes that i've ever seen. computer GENIUS. the most contagious laugh ever. loves to rock climb. loves to make kaiya laugh. passed on his silliness to her. thinks that grey cloudy rainy days make him happy (craziness). loves treats as much as i do. served a mission in Korea. and therefore speaks Korean quite fluently. one of the smartest people i know. an amazing problem solver. a wow addict (okay i don't really like this one) ;). loves the outdoors. has manly shoulders that make him look like he works out, even when he hasn't. likes to talk about things like politics--that makes me think. has big dreams. i can make his heart melt with a quick cuddle. he has a huge heart. he has saved more than his fair share of abandoned kitties. always wants to do the right thing for his family. is working hard at doing those things. tells me how every meal i cook him is the "best(meatloaf) i've ever had". is chugging away at school even though it's not one of his favorite things. you love it when i laugh at your jokes. a worthy priesthood holder.

and there's that silliness on her face

most of the time we see things so differently and that too is one of the reasons I love you, you help me think out of my normal realm of thought. The bubble around me that i call me, is constantly being stretched by you, you help me to become better. you help me to learn who i truly am. you are a big part of the reason that the beautiful mess, that is kaiya is in our lives.

you hold my heart in your hands. everything that is worth living for is because of you. it's true even though it is cheesy.

you know that Regina Spektor song that goes something like this:
...you try to love the things you took, then you take that love you made and stick it into some
someone else' s heart pumping someone else's blood
and walking arm in arm
you hope it don't get harm
but even if it does you just do it all again.

those words express well what t means to love somebody. and i just like them.
