off to church, candy with a tie on it. mom and the girl singing on the stand, a little girl who wont stand still. twirling, squirming, whining and crying trying to free her way across the stand to run towards her mischievous friend. Then finally going back to Dad after mom pleads. the song was practically over, mom was embarrassed, but laughing because she knows that an almost three year old "should" really behave better than that, but she is only three. and mom laughs because her dad promised her candy if she would just sit still and not run back up to the stand while mom finished her song. A win win on kaiya's part. that's right we applaud misbehavior around here.Back from church, more pancakes for lunch--at Dad's request, and two really long naps. wake up at five, dinner is going to be late, but that's okay because chad got a surprise from a friend. Korean food to enjoy while our dinner was in the making. noodles and broth and vegetables with egg.

like daddy like daughter. these two are one in the same when it comes to noodly asian food, they gobbled it up. kaiya used used chopsticks from dan and ger. she loved them. and if your reading this i need your blog address, my google searches for it have been fruitless. dangerus.blogspot.com? yes? No?after talking to grandpa and assuring him that there is a package on the way, made with love, we're sorry it's late. but here is your proof:

kaiya helped make everything today ( except the homemade brownies that I made while she slept)
we went to the park while we waited for the pizza dough to rise. we played with our friends and had lots of childish fun
sword fight! and that little guy his her mischievous friend I mentioned earlier.

i think kaiya is in love with uncle shawn, she gave him a sneaky kiss while his eyes were closed during the prayer at church today, then she quickly bowed her head again, and she snuggled with him on the swing.

we came back to the house, rolled out the dough and had them put the toppings on (that is the fun part). Chad's favorite food is pizza (and a&w rootbeer), so that's what he got.

whole wheat crust, red sauce, basil, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, onions and green peppers (on half only). YUM!!!!!
we had a picnic out on the living room floor and watched igor while we ate.
oh yeah and the salad that only I ate.happy father's day to all the Dad's in our life. we love you all!
and to you chad, you're the best we love you!
