30 second little kid cake

in a small cup:

2T ww flour
1/4t baking powder
1pinch of salt
1t walnuts broken into little pieces
1t honey
1-2T rice milk
1/2t coconut oil
10 chocolate chips

stir. microwave on high for 30sec. cool and enjoy!!

Noah turned TWO!!

 

We sang happy birthday all day, starting at Breakfast! He wanted us to do it again and again.

Noah turned Two on Monday the 4th. I can't believe it! He totally enjoyed opening presents and getting sung to. He is such a sweet boy, the little things make him so happy.

We opened a present or two in the morning, he ate breakfast and got sung to by all the neighbor kids and next door cousins (two times per his request), and we went to the pool. He loves to swim and is a little fish, he hates that I wont let go of him in the deep water so he can do it by himself. When I do let go he sinks fast! haha but that doesn't stop him! He still keeps trying.
Then we had cake and presents after dinner. His favorite part of the night, was his bubble blower.

We love our little guy! He is so funny and silly, adventurous and cuddly. He is a mamma's boy and loves to cuddle with me in bed every morning after he wakes up for at least 20 minutes. He loves to play outside and run around with the big boys! He has a favorite friend named Kaden who is 8 but he absolutely loves him! He says "Dadden!" When he sees him and runs to give him a big hug!
He knows exactly what he wants but doesn't say much. We call him the one word man. If he wants something he says' "up!" or "adin" (again), or "ball". Not too many sentences.

But evey once on a while he woos us with his words and makes us laugh. He said "i pee! and pointed to his diaper". He wanted an boiled egg today and while I was peeling it he said: "Egg NOW!!!" and we all burst out laughing because it's so unexpected from him!

He is so sweet to me. If he accidentally hurts me, he hugs me and says SORRY! and kisses me over and over again.
He lifts up my shirt and hugs my belly and kisses it while saying baby!  Then he lifts up his own shirt and says "baby!!!" and laughs!

WE LOVE HIM so much!! He is such a joy! Happy Birthday Noah!!

Baby on the way and other fun things...

We have been so busy and having lots of fun! Sadly my blog has been neglected in the process!
Here are some things that have happened lately:

I'm having a baby on October 13th or 16th--we have some awesome ultrasound pictures of our cutie rubbing their face and a foot....but no crotch shot because we decided to wait to find out until he/she is born. I'm currently 22 weeks along. 
 Kaiya played soccer and I was her coach (during my first trimester)!
 Kaiya graduated from kindergarten
Noah turned two!! He loves to be outside, play with guns and shovels, digging in the dirt and cuddling. He likes to count and sing the alphabet but only says one to two words at a time. He is so fun to be around and makes everyone smile! We love him!!
 Kaiya is a big reader now and we just heard her reading Llama, Llama Red Pajama to Noah through their bedroom door (they're supposed to be asleep) and Noah is giggling away.
He started going pee in the potty but he will not poop yet!
We finished part of our basement adding a new room and living area! I'm in love with the extra space! I more than glad to be finishing up with all the dirt and dust that has been a constant n our lives for months now!
Mostly we have been enjoying summer! We took a fun trip to Seattle to visit my parents. We also went to Hawaii in December and I still haven't posted our fun family pictures we got with chads family!

I read some of my older posts, and want to keep the blog updated because its really fun to go back and see them! Im updating one event at a time!

For the change to happen, THE change. You know the one? From completely happy to completely  devastated. It happens so fast and so often around here.

The crazy face of someone who has just been told by her mother,  that it will be okay if her tower gets knocked over because she can build a new one. She is trying SOOO hard to turn her murderous scowl into a smile. Hence she looks like a protective, crazed maniac who might explode at any minute.

I will protect it till the end mom, I don't caer what you say. 

He's getting closer: "NOAH DO NOT TOUCH MY TOWER!!"

AHHHHHHH NOOOOOO!!! (complete devastation!)

Some could say that I should have stopped Noah but let's be honest. Can you really stop a 19 month old boy from tearing down a tour that anyone has built? No! not possible. She got over it in 2 seconds flat.

hmmm for some reason my foot is bothering me

my foot!!! ahhhhhhh even though nothing happened and i didn't even stand up all of the sudden my foot hurts sooooo bad!!!!

And that is where, the good mom that I am, I decide it's finally time to turn off the camera and kiss his random hurt foot. Which was better after one cuddle and one kiss.

Let me state for the record that I have NO idea what happened here, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. I do remember that she kept asking for something that I said no to,and the fit was a result of me sticking to no, instead of saying yes.

We has a nice Christmas in Hawaii. Good food, good company, fun kids and we of course got to go to the beach.. my favorite parts. I wish I was at the beach right now! Oh wait it is snowing outside...
