it is so funny to me that i used to live not 15 minutes from there, and have walked all over that place- even nursed velzy across the street from the white house- and of course got lots of funny looks! i would have loved to have been there for a presidential inauguration.

i perused the link you provided ... it's really all so amazing. this is a monumental event and we're living it! not just because he's black, but heavens, since when did the entire world watch a presidential inauguration?? it's a bit overwhelming to take it all in.
and I feel like a giant who wants to stomp on them all.
